Acupuncture

After discussing your symptoms and health goals with you, I will feel your pulse and look at your tongue to see what patterns are showing up in your body.  From there, a pattern diagnosis will be made, and the appropriate acupuncture points will be chosen.  Very thin, flexible, sterile acupuncture needles are inserted into the acupuncture points.  You may feel a “qi sensation” – a heaviness, a traveling sensation, a feeling of relaxation, or a feeling of floating.  Many patients find acupuncture refreshing, healing, and relaxing.  Most people fall asleep during treatment, and report “sleeping like a baby” that night.
